An independent publishing company focused on seeking out and successfully promoting high quality children’s fiction. Through our commitment and entrepreneurial drive we place imaginative and engaging books into the hands of children both here in the UK and throughout the world.
Atlantis Children’s Books was launched in 2010. Our independent label focuses on working closely with our contributors in order to maximise the impact their finished works will have with their target audiences. By involving our authors and illustrators at each stage of developing their manuscript into a beautiful finished book, we develop both a fruitful and long lasting partnership with our team. We are passionate about all aspects of the publishing process from original character concepts and engaging plot ideas through to cutting edge graphic design and world class lithography, working with the very best printers in China, Dubai and the UK.
Between 2011 and 2023 we had great success with the popular Mokee Joe series created by former teacher and author Peter J. Murray. The first three titles in this series were initially published by Hodder Children’s Books and Hachette before we continued to develop the series with books four through to the final sixth book in the series. We are proud to announce the recent acquisition of these rights to Medina Publishing.
A further success to our publishing list is the popular picture book series, Icky Doo Dah , by author and illustrator Simon Murray.
Our issue-led picture book Jack by author Helen Victoria Bishop has been very well received. We are proud to announce a formal endorsement from family law body Resolution and a glowing review from The Law Society.Â
